AI call reporting for small sales teams
Morning Tally uses AI to read every sales call your team took yesterday, ties each one to what was actually ordered, and sends the results as one page you can read in five minutes.
Samples and orders open January 2027.
What AI call reporting means here
Most business phone systems now come with some AI. It transcribes each call and writes a short summary, and you read those summaries one at a time inside the phone app. That works for looking up a single call. It doesn’t tell you what yesterday added up to.
Morning Tally reads all of yesterday’s calls together. It works out which ones were about money, finds the order, quote or contract that followed in your sales system, and puts a dollar figure next to each. Then it writes one page: who sold what, which deals are slipping, what customers kept asking for and who to call first.
What the AI pulls out of each call
For every call it reads the transcript from start to finish and pulls out:
- what the customer wanted, in their own words
- any price, quantity or date that came up
- how the call ended: an order, a quote, a promise to call back or nothing
- objections, like a competitor’s price, a late delivery or a declined card
- anything the rep promised to do next
Small talk and anything unrelated to a sale stay out. Calls to vendors, internal transfers and accounts you want excluded are left out by the rules you set during setup.
Why your sales system matters
A transcript on its own can’t tell you whether a call made money. The customer says "go ahead and run it," the rep says "you got it," and the order shows up in the ERP forty minutes later under an account name the customer never said out loud. Morning Tally matches the two by phone number, then by customer and account, so the report can say the call was worth $9,870.
That match is also what makes the at-risk list worth reading. A deal makes the list when there’s real money on it and the customer said something that puts it in doubt, like comparing your quote with another bid or asking for something the quote left out.
Checks before anything is sent
AI makes mistakes, so the report is built to catch them. Every customer quote is checked word for word against the transcript it came from. Every dollar figure is recalculated from your own systems. Anything that can’t be traced back to a call or a record is dropped. If something still doesn’t match how you run the business, you tell us once and the rule changes for every report after.

Priced per team
AI add-ons for phone systems and conversation intelligence tools are usually priced per person. Morning Tally is priced per team: $395 a month for up to 5 people on the phones, $595 for 6 to 15 and $795 for 16 to 30, month to month. A Monday review for the weekly meeting adds $150 a month, and a monthly owner review adds $200.
Common questions
Is the AI trained on our calls?
No. Your calls and records are never used to train AI models, and transcripts are deleted within 90 days.
Does anyone listen to the recordings?
No. The report works from transcripts. Nobody at Morning Tally listens to a call unless you ask us to check one.
Which phone systems does it work with?
Any phone system that can export a call log, such as Aircall, CallRail, Dialpad, JustCall, Nextiva, RingCentral, 8x8 or Zoom Phone. The report is fuller when the system also records and transcribes calls.
What does it need from our sales system?
Orders, quotes, invoices or contracts with a customer name and a phone number or account number. Acumatica, HubSpot, NetSuite, Pipedrive, QuickBooks Online, Salesforce, ServiceTitan and Shopify can all export what it needs.
