A Gong alternative for small teams that sell by phone
Gong and tools like it are built for larger sales organizations. If you have a handful of people on the phones and want to know what yesterday’s calls were worth, Morning Tally is a smaller and simpler fit.
Samples and orders open January 2027.
What conversation intelligence platforms do
Conversation intelligence platforms such as Gong record sales calls and video meetings, transcribe them, and give managers software to search calls, coach reps, track deals and forecast. They’re built around a CRM like Salesforce or HubSpot and a sales team that runs scheduled meetings with prospects. They do a great deal, and they take someone’s time to set up and use well.
What Morning Tally does
Morning Tally is a report that arrives in your inbox. It reads every call from the day before, matches each one to orders and revenue in your ERP or CRM, and sends one page each business-day morning. There’s no software for your team to learn or log into, and we do the setup.

When a platform like Gong fits better
If you run a larger sales team, close deals over several meetings and want to coach reps call by call, a conversation intelligence platform does far more than a daily report. Morning Tally doesn’t coach reps during calls, and it doesn’t replace your phone system or your CRM.
When Morning Tally fits better
If your team has fewer than 30 people on the phones, most of your sales happen on inbound and outbound calls, and the money shows up as orders in an ERP or jobs in a CRM, a daily report is usually enough. It tells you what yesterday was worth, which deals are slipping and who to call first, and nobody has to log in to find out.
Common questions
Can we use both?
Yes. If you already have conversation intelligence or AI in your phone system, Morning Tally can read the transcripts it makes.
Is there a contract?
No. Morning Tally runs month to month, and you can cancel with 30 days’ notice.
Does Morning Tally record our calls?
No. Your phone system records and transcribes calls, and Morning Tally reads what it already makes.
