Daily call reports for building supply yards

Contractors call your yard to price a job, add to an order or ask where a delivery is. Morning Tally reads those calls, matches them to quotes and orders, and tells the sales manager who to call back first each morning.

What the daily page shows a yard

Jobs that are priced but not ordered

A builder calls for a price on a house package or a deck, your salesperson works it up, and the quote sits. A few weeks later the job goes to another yard and nobody notices until the contractor’s account goes quiet. The report keeps every open quote from a phone call on the list, with the contractor’s own words about when the job starts, until it turns into an order or someone marks it lost.

Price checks and short supply

When contractors start bringing up the same thing on several calls, like a price they saw at another yard or a product that’s hard to find, the report puts it at the top of the page. Your salespeople hear these things every day. The report makes sure the person setting prices and placing stock orders hears them too.

Delivery calls

A contractor calling three times about one delivery is a customer you might lose, even if the order is already paid for. The report counts delivery calls by contractor and by order, so dispatch and sales see the same list.

Counter and phone together

Most yards take orders at the counter and on the phone. During setup we agree which sales count as phone sales, so the report can credit the call that led to an order even when the contractor picks it up at the counter.

Common questions

Can it report on more than one location?

Yes. Calls and sales can be reported by location, by salesperson or both.

What if our outside salespeople use their cell phones?

The report only sees calls on your business phone system. Most business phone systems have a mobile app that logs calls made from a cell phone, which brings those calls into the report.

What does it cost?

$395 a month for up to 5 people on the phones and $595 for 6 to 15, month to month.
